Why Did You Decide to Become a Dentist?
Dr. Collier originally thought she wanted to become a dental hygienist, but after just a couple of days of training chairside as a dental assistant, she realized that becoming a dentist in her own right seemed like a great career fit for her. She applied to two schools and was accepted into her first choice, and the rest is history! Today, she still strongly feels that she made the right decision. Working as a dentist is an amazing career for women and mothers, she feels, and it gives her plenty of quality time with her kids.
